Hi! My husband I and I are teaching in Seoul as well... I have heard that many schools do not accept teachers with children (as we are thinking of having some our selves). I am curious to know your situation if you don't mind sharing :)Love your pictures!! And your babies!
Hey Brian and Stacey! The school where we teach (Seoul Foreign School) is very supportive of children. I also think that Seoul International School has an on-sight daycare and is supportive of families. I haven't actually heard of any schools not allowing teachers to have children. Where are you teaching now?
We are teaching for Brighton- an organization under KICS (Korean international christian school). When we were applying for jobs from America we were told several times that many schools do not encourage families. I guess we went through the wrong people to apply! lol. Anyway we are thinking about what is going to happen next year. We love it here, but our current situation would not be good for babies! As of right now our plan is to go back after this year, but if the right opportunity presented itself for next year, I would not mind coming back. Sounds like you all are in the right spot!! :)
